Systems Administrator (IT Support)

Vertex Labs is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to help scale our IT Support function as the company grows.

You'll work closely with partners across the company, contributing to decisions that shape both the team and the product.

IT Support at Vertex Labs is a small, tight-knit group that values craftsmanship and clear thinking over busywork.

Everyone on the IT Support team has a direct line to leadership — decisions get made quickly, without layers of approval.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Evaluate and roll out new internal tooling
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and device provisioning
• Support office network and infrastructure
• Monitor systems and respond to alerts

Candidate Profile

• 2+ years in an IT support or sysadmin role
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud identity providers (Okta, Azure AD)
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, or similar)
• Scripting experience (Bash or PowerShell)
