Intro

Riverbend Labs is hiring a Product Owner to join our Product team. This is a chance to make a direct, visible impact on how we build and support our product.

This role has plenty of room to grow as the company scales — we promote from within whenever we can.

You'll work closely with partners across the company, contributing to decisions that shape both the team and the product.

About the team

The team is a mix of senior and mid-level practitioners who collaborate daily and review each other's work closely.

Everyone on the Product team has a direct line to leadership — decisions get made quickly, without layers of approval.

Candidate Responsibilities

Define and track success metrics for shipped features
Facilitate sprint planning and backlog grooming
Prioritize the backlog in partnership with engineering and design
Translate customer problems into clear product requirements
Communicate product strategy to stakeholders
Run discovery interviews and synthesize findings

Candidate Profile

Strong analytical skills and comfort with data
Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
3+ years of product management experience
Experience writing clear specs and user stories
Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to have

Background in software engineering or design
Experience running A/B tests
Familiarity with SQL for self-serve data analysis
Experience with B2B SaaS products
